A Current or Saving account will be considered dormant if there has been no client initiated transaction in the account for a period last six months.

In accordance with section 119 of the Financial Institution Act 2004, United Bank for Africa Uganda Limited hereby informs its esteemed clients listed below that their accounts remained Inactive (Dormant) for more than 5 years as of 11th, April 2024. In case any of the under-listed wishes his or her Account to be reactivated, you are advised to contact any of the Bank’s Branches. Otherwise, all balances will be transferred to the Central Bank in accordance with the law.
